2025 Financial Report

Ruby, our alumni financial analyst is glad to report that 2025 was a MUCH better year financially than the previous two years. 2023 and 2024 were brutal to our budget, as both those years we spent more than we received….which is not sustainable long term. But while boarding costs were greater, medical expenses were significantly lower.

We also received many donations in memory of one of our beloved volunteers and alumni, Wanda June Parker.

Our revenues were $223,814.06 from adoption fees, donations, and various fundraisers.

Our expenses were $202,624.13, primarily for boarding and medical needs. March was our toughest month, as that was when the medical costs for the Parvo pups hit our account. Their story is told at  https://texashuskyrescue.org/2025/03/24/parvo-puppies-2025-edition/

Our intake was 68 huskies, and 84 adoptions.  We have 31 dogs needing homes.

We are postured for success in 2026, and we look forward to the journey ahead of us, with our pack supporting us on our next adventures!
